Aaron Bardell - QLD State Manager Warehouse Division

Aaron has been at DGL since November 2008. After completing High School, he obtained a Certificate III in Warehousing & Distribution and undertook several courses in OH&S Training and Accounting. Aaron is a qualified First Aid Officer and is looking into studying further in the logistics field. He commenced his career at Alliance Warehousing & Distribution as a storeman and, at age of 19, managed their 10,000 pallet space warehouse. He spent the next 6 years at Excel Parcel Express and Westgate as a Receiving & Dispatch Manager, Transport Coordinator and Contract Manager running one of their QLD warehouses. After tasting the customer side with Frucor Beverages for 3 years and taking on the roles of Operations and Senior Development Manager at MWD, Aaron joined DGL. In his current role, he is responsible for the overall efficiency and profitability of all warehouse sites in Southeast QLD as well as the local distribution. Aaron in his spare time enjoys spending time with his daughter and son and going out fishing.


 

Stan Bochenek - Rocklea Site Manager


Stan has been within the DGL Group for more than 14 years,. In his current position he is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the site, which includes ensuring operations occur in a safe manner and that the site is run to high standards as per company procedures and policy as well as supplying our customers with friendly service and helping them with their request to full satisfaction. Stan completed a Technical College and Hotel and Restaurant Management before starting work at Ajax -APS chemical, where he spent  13 years in warehousing and production. He has completed several diverse courses, such as: Dangerous Goods Training Course, First Aid course and PACIA Chemicals and Warehousing Management. Stan is a family man, likes to travel the world and meet good people and enjoys sports, including Rugby League and Union, tennis and football.

 

 

Matt McKenzie - Eagle Farm Site Manager


In Matt's current position he is responsible for safety and compliance, daily task delegation for drivers, storemen and admin staff, routing of daily runs and inventory control. Matt has been with DGL since February 2006 and completed a Junior Certificate year 10. Before joining DGL he did brick laying for 2 years, was a labourer/ storeman for 4 years and concreting for another 5 years. He enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter and son, going to motor racing events and following the Brisbane Lions in the AFL.

 

 

 

 


 

Carol Sullivan - Client Services Eagle Farm


Carol is one of our longest standing employees and has been with DGL since June 1997. Carol holds an Intermediate Certificate and after working at Mayne Nickless for 13 years looking after accounts and other clerical duties she took on the role of Transport Coordinator with DGL in Queensland. In this role Carol takes ownership for the allocation of deliveries from our Brisbane warehouses. Carol won the Transport Administrators Award Queensland in 2003 and was highly commended for the same award in 2005.

 

 

 

 

Kristie Beran- HSEQ Coordinator

 

Kristie's responsibilities in her current position are working with the Site and Contract Managers in identifying and meeting state/ site needs, such as technical advice and support on OHS issues, legislative/regulatory requirements and DG product compliance requirements; maintaining the Safety Management System elements for the Quality Management System online; conducting risk assessments and development and implementation of safe systems of work. Kristie has been at DGL since February 2006 and holds a Year 12 Certificate, an Administration Certificate III and Rehabilitation & Return To Work Coordinator. She has worked for a small family business as Office Assistant & Fleet Assistant and a Tile company looking after the deliveries and ordering of stock.
