Ron Wolfenden - NSW State Manager - Warehouse Division

Ron has been at DGL since 2001. He has a Higher School Certificate, completed a TAFE Course in Toolmaking and conducted courses on Industrial Relationship and Dangerous Goods. He has 31 years of experience in the transport industry, commencing in Rail, Sea and Sales Transport Management and Warehousing Management. In his current role Ron is responsible for the NSW Warehouse Operations. Ron is also involved in the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.

 

 



 

Michael Bozza - ARC Newcastle Transport Supervisor

 

Michael was born in sydney in 1963 lived in fairfield, in 1975 the family move to the country town of orange. Michael lived here for another 30 years, attended Canobolas High School and then into the trucking industry in 1981. Michael drove interstate for the next 22 years for various companies in Orange, in 2000 he started at Stramit in Orange delivering their product, then in 2004 moved to Newcastle then started with DGL as a driver at Stramit doing the north country run, 3 months into the job i was offered the management position for the next 4 years, in 2008 went to stramit as an afternoon shift production clerk and loadout, in 2010 moved back to DGL managing the ARC site at walsend.

 

 

 

Trevor Thomas - Contract Manager NSW


Trevor has been at DGL since June 2006. He is a Boilermaker by trade and commenced his career with Pitman and Sons moving concrete products then moved to Rapid Transport in their Steel and Heavy Haulage section and then to The Transport Workers Union as an official. From there to 1st Fleet looking after steel and roofing products and then to DGL totalling around 28 years of experience. In his current role Trevor looks after local and regional transport in NSW for Bluescope, SMS and ARC. Trevor enjoys catching real fish and 4WD-ing.

 

 

 

 

Alan Brooks - Contract Manager NSW


Alan has been at DGL since May 2010. He commenced his education in the United Kingdom to a year 12 equivalentt. He fulfilled the role of Contract Manager at several Australian Transport Companies for 13 years before progressing into the role of Operations Manager.  Alan was also in the army for 6 years - deployed in Vietnam - constructing airfields. In his current role as Contract Manager at DGL, Alan looks after Stramit in New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory.
