Quality Management System
The Quality Management System (QMS) operated by DGL achieved an accreditation in ISO 9001:2000, which certifies the fulfillment of customer's quality requirements, the compliance of regulatory requirements, the aim to enhance our customer satisfaction, and the urge to continually improve our performance in every perspective. Maintained by our HSEQ department, the QMS is a platform for assistance and support for both internal and external customers through ever changing regulatory requirements. DGL’s Quality Management System encompasses and merges both quality and safety aspects of operational activities at a national level. This facilitates consistency, transparency and objectivity in the way we do business across the country.
Incident Reporting is in place to identify and correct non-compliances with Quality Management System and other regulatory requirements. Auditing of the QMS occurs both internally and externally by certified bodies such as WorkSafe and Jas-Anz Auditors. DGL is committed to the provision of quality services in all our activities.
DGL also is accredited by the "National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme" (NHVAS). This ensures that all DGL vehicles and drivers comply with regulatory standards and intend to increase transport efficiency while reducing costs of compliance. In the long run the accreditation will also improve road safety, increase productivity and reduce impact and costs of regulatory enforcements.
